Chronology of cameras Goerz

The Goerz Stereo Ango was introduced in 1905 as an improvement of the Goerz Stereo Anschütz Model I. It has the self-capped shutter. The viewfinder is optical with a blue back lens, and the front standard is finished in polished wood.  The format of this particular variant is 9 x 18 cm. It has a low serial number (21829), which dates it from the initial period of the Ango production, before 1910.

The lenses show that it was assembled in France. It has a pair of Hermagis Anastigmat Magir of 125 mm of focal length and maximum aperture of 6.3. The lenses have no iris and thus have to be used in full aperture. There is also no helical focusing, being the lenses set for infinity. Overall it is a low cost set up.
